Teaching/education background
This is my eleventh year teaching at Hillside, and it will be my tenth year teaching fourth grade. I have always loved teaching fourth grade, and I look forward to an awesome year. Two years ago, I taught first grade at Hillside, and it was such a joyful experience! In the past, I worked as a teaching assistant in the ELC II classroom at Hillside, completed a teaching practicum in a fifth grade classroom in Brookline, MA, and obtained my Master of Arts in Teaching from Simmons College in May, 2006. I absolutely love the Hillside community, and I love teaching!

Teaching/Education Background
I am happy to be back in the classroom as a teacher! I have been at Hillside in some capacity for the past 11 years. I taught Kindergarten for 7 years and KASE for 3. Last year, I helped out in the Special Education department for grades K-4.
I have also taught in the Milton Public Schools, grade 3; St. Patrick's in Roxbury, grade 5.
My undergraduate degree is from Boston College and I received my Masters in Education from Lesley University where I met Mr. K! 😀
Like Mrs. Mangan, I love the Hillside community and wouldn't think of teaching anywhere else! I know we will have a FANTASTIC school year.
